Company overview

2005

Abbeystone formed

Drawing on the knowledge and experience gained from his successful lettings and sales business, Abbeystone was formed by Peter Butler to specialise purely in Block Management. The company quickly built a management portfolio of clients, with properties spanning London and the southeast.

2014

10 years of expansion and portfolio building

Over the following years the company further expanded their portfolio and client base, now managing properties as far afield as North Yorkshire and Cornwall – serving both lessees and freeholders alike. 

2015

2015 Abbeystone becomes family business

In 2015 Peter’s son James joined the company. With a background of many years working in construction and site management, James’s experience further enabled Abbeystone’s growth in the improvement and major work aspects of management .

James Butler becomes Company Director

Whilst it’s client base has grown exponentially; the company primarily remains a family run business.  Operating from our offices located in Maldon, Essex – Our core values remain the same as a proudly independent managing agent:
